Why is 2018 so far away?!
Tonight at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios’ panel revealed the cast for the upcoming Black Panther movie.
Along with Chadwick Boseman reprising his role as the titular hero first seen in Captain America: Civil War earlier this year, Michael B. Jordan will be playing the film’s villain, Erik Killmonger. Lupita Nyong’o will be playing Nakia, a member of the Dora Milaje, who function as basically his security guards. To be a member of the Dora Milaje, you have to be the best of the best, and the one leading them will Okoye, played by none other than Danai Guira, who plays the katana-wielding Michonne on AMC’s The Walking Dead.
Black Panther, directed by Ryan Coogler, will come to theaters on February 16, 2018. Check back with Twinfinite for more news from Comic-Con.
