BioShock: The Collection, remastered version of the original BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock: Infinite, has been announced for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
As GameInformer reports, the collection is brought to use from Blind Squirrel Games and 2K. Almost everything in each game, including the levels and character models will be retextured and reskinned, giving the three games a make-over. Each title will run at 1080p/60fps and PC gamers who already own the games will get all this in a free update.
BioShock: Infinite will not get a remaster on PC because, according to 2K, the game “already meets current-gen console standards and runs smoothly on high visual settings”.
The remasters will include all of the DLC released for each game, though BioShock 2’s multiplayer will not be included. Behind the scenes extras will also be featured including a never-before-seen video series called Director’s Commentary: Imagining BioShock, which will include insights from Ken Levine.

BioShock: The Collection is due to be released on September 13 in America, the 15th in Australia, and the following day everywhere else.
