Not long now!

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force’s Berserk video game adaptation was originally slated for a September release in Japan. However, it looks like the game has been delayed by a month so that the team can focus on improving the game’s quality for the fans who are waiting for it.

According to the game’s Japanese Twitter account, the game will now be released on October 27 in Japan. It’s also worth noting that Berserk has been slated for a fall release in the west as well, so it’s possible that Koei Tecmo could be aiming for a simultaneous release instead.

So far, it’s been confirmed that Serpico, Schierke, Judeau, Casca, and Griffith will be featured as playable characters. The game will also cover the manga’s Golden Age, Conviction, and Millennium Falcon arcs.

Berserk will be released for the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita on October 27 in Japan. It will be coming to the PS4, PS Vita, and PC via Steam in North America as well. We’ll keep you updated as more information comes our way.
