Bandai Namco is “Very Excited” to Announce Their New IP at Gamescom

New, new, new!

We’re now a month away from Gamescom 2016, and we’ve got a pretty good idea on who’s going to be showing off what. (Don’t expect Microsoft to be there this year.) Bandai Namco, the publisher behind the Dark Souls and Tekken franchise, will be attending.

In addition to Tekken 7 and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, both of which will be available to play for the public, the publisher is also going to announce a brand new IP. No other information about it, like a developer or genre, has been said besides that it’ll be for a “Western audience”. That, and marketing boss Herve Hoerdt says that they’re “very excited” to let people see it. So let those thoughts fester in your head for the next 30 days.

Gamescom 2016 runs August 18-24. What do you think Bandai Namco will be announcing? Let us know in the comments below.
