Hacking in action.
Ubisoft has released yet another video for Watch Dogs 2. This time it is a gameplay clip of a Dedsec Infiltration Mission that showcases new hacking abilities and the game’s story.
The gameplay shows Marcus’ ability to control a drone to search ahead and tag enemies. The protagonist also has mines to help with stealth, a taser for non-lethal takedowns, and a small drone to hack terminals. The player then begins his infiltration of a secure area. You can see the full video below.
It was also revealed that all Watch Dogs 2 DLC will be available on PlayStation 4 30 days before anywhere else.
Watch Dogs 2 only recently saw an official announcement, although it’s been leaked and rumored in various ways for quite a while. Like this leak of the game’s release date and setting. Or this pre-order page that showed up too early. Or these Ray-Bans that appeared before the game was even announced.
Yeah, it’s been a long time coming for the hacking sequel. Though the first game still receives mixed impressions, Ubisoft has confidence in Watch Dogs 2.
“It has the potential to be one of Ubisoft’s best-selling games of all time,” said Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot. “The game will once again surprise players with a new tone and with innovative hacking gameplay possibilities. We can’t wait to show your more.”
Watch Dogs 2’s Gold and Deluxe Editions have also been revealed, offering customization packs and season passes.
Watch Dogs 2 is out this November. Let us know if you’ll be pre-ordering, and for all your E3 news, previews and random coverage, stay tuned to Twinfinite.
