Ubisoft E3 2016 Lineup Revealed, Includes Watch Dogs 2

It’s finally confirmed!

Earlier today, Ubisoft announced the line-up of games that it will be bringing to E3 2016 and also confirmed that Watch Dogs 2 will be making an appearance. This news means that Ubisoft has finally officially announced Watch Dogs 2, despite them recently sending out Watch Dog 2 Ray-Ban Glasses to popular YouTuber TheRadBrand.

As well as Watch Dogs 2, confirmed via an email sent out by the publisher and received by Gamespot, Ubisoft also revealed on its website that it’ll be showing South Park: The Fractured But Whole, For Honor, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, and upcoming VR game, Eagle Flight.

Eagle Flight is a VR flight game where players will able to soar around the iconic landscape of Paris. The game takes place 50 years after humanity has disappeared and players will be able to test their skills in single-player modes such as ring parkour, and engage in dogfights with other Eagles and players.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a sequel to the 2014 title South Park: The Stick of Truth. The sequel will see players once again playing as the New Kid. They’ll be taking on South Parks criminal underbelly as a member of Cartman’s team of superheroes formed by his alter-ego, The Coon.

For Honor is a competitive third-person melee fighting game where three factions are fighting for power. These factions are The Chosen, The Warborn, and The Legions. Players will have to choose one of three sides before each fight and each side has their own fighting style. For example, The Chosen’s Oni is dressed in lightweight armor and equipped with a Japanese Katana, while The Legions Warden has a massive two-handed longsword and plate armor.

Finally, Tom Clancy’s Recon Wildlands sees players lead a team of four U.S Elite operatives called Ghosts in taking down a Santa Blanca drug cartel hidden away in the Bolivian wilderness.

While this may be the first time that Ubisoft has officially announced that Watch Dogs 2 will be part of its E3 2016 line-up, rumors of the game appearing at E3 2016 have been around for awhile. Back in January, we reported that the site The Rebel cited a source from Ubisoft Montreal who said that Watch Dogs 2 gameplay footage would be shown at E3.
