When you’ve found the Grandmaster Smith in Blood and Wine, you’ll be able to craft some seriously powerful gear. One of these sets is the Grandmaster Ursine Bear gear, some particularly useful armor for those who are looking to truly bolster their defenses.

The set requires your Geralt to be at level 40 or higher, and provides a bonus to Adrenaline Points gained and a resistance to piercing, bludgeoning, slashing, and monster damage.

The Grandmaster Ursine Bear gear’s bonuses are:

  • Bonus for 3 Pieces: A chance to spawn a Quen shield for free after your existing one is broken by an enemy attack.
  • Bonus for 6 pieces: Increases the damage of your Quen abilities by 200%

Once you’ve met the Grandmaster Smith and he’s told you of his almighty skills, it’s time to hit the road and get searching for those precious gear diagrams.
