Troy Baker in a leading role? What a surprise!

In a surprise announcement Telltale Games revealed last December that they were working on a title about the Dark Knight himself, Batman. The six-month wait since that reveal has been difficult, having learned next to nothing more aside from it getting a “summer” release. It’s E3 now, however, and Telltale will soon be showing off the first footage from the game at the E3 show floor.

Before that they took to their blog to announce the first voice cast details, as well as finally give fans a taste at what Batman – A Telltale Series will look like in the first series of screenshots. Check them out below to see Batman and Catwoman flirting as usual, Bruce Wayne brooding in his manor, Batman and his Batmobile in the Batcave, and Bruce Wayne checking out his high-tech computer.

As for the voice cast, there are plenty of regular names here for Telltale. Bruce Wayne will be played by Troy Baker, who has previously played the same part in several LEGO games, as well as Rhys in Telltale’s Tales from the Borderlands. Laura Bailey and Erin Yvette, also of Tales from the Borderlands (as sisters Fiona and Sasha respectively) appear in Batman as Selina Kyle/Catwoman and Vicki Vale respectively.

Other voices include Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent/Two-Face, Enn Reitel as Alfred, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant Jim Gordon, and Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone.
