Spider-Man Swings Into E3 With an Awesome Trailer

Spider-Man

Everyone’s favorite kid from Queens has returned.

Spider-Man has finally returned to gaming in what looks like an absolutely jaw-dropping new game. The game itself was not given a title, but it is being developed by Insomniac Games. For those who don’t know, this is the studio behind the hit series Ratchet & Clank, so it will be interesting to see what they deliver for everyone’s favorite web-slinger. Especially since the last great Spidey title was way back in 2004 with Spider-Man 2.

From what we can gather in the trailer, the game is set in New York City and is clearly more combat focused. There also seems to be a lot of work focused on the transitions between traversing through the city and actual hand to hand combat. Spider-Man also seems to have a much larger scale of destruction as various vehicles and buildings were receiving a lot of real time damage.

The unnamed Spider-Man game will be a PS4 exclusive and no release date has been announced yet.
