Mortal Kombat X May Get Another Kombat Pack Before Injustice 2 Releases

Round 3!

Mortal Kombat X has, since its release last year, put out two Kombat packs. Each pack has had four characters (plus some costume bundles), and from the sound of things, a third one is on the way before the studio presumably devotes its full time towards Injustice 2. Netherrealm’s Ed Boon hinted as such earlier today, basically going “hey, you should stay tuned to EVO next month!”

EVO is the big fighting game tournament that’ll be running from July 15-17. If there’s any place that would be perfect for announcing new Mortal Kombat X DLC, that would definitely be the place. Given how the last two packs had famous movie monsters–the first had Jason Voorhees and Predator, while the second had Leatherface and Alien–the third will more than likely have another pair as well.

Any movie monsters you can think of to join MKX’s final DLC release? Let us know in the comments below.
