Rumors that the Nintendo’s NX will include VR have been spreading for months and while Nintendo has yet to confirm this, information from their recent Shareholders meeting revealed that Miyamoto is, at the very least, experimenting with the tech. According to a quote by Miyamoto from the meeting: “we are also researching VR, so we have the core technology.” He even went to check out VR at E3 this year after hearing all the buzz surrounding it, and was pleasantly surprised.

However, Miyamoto also commented about his concerns over VR as a whole when he said that “long play sessions are an issue… We want to release something that can be played for long periods, carries value, and is affordable. We want parents to feel at ease.”
