If you’ve been looking for a good reason to pick up LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens on PS3 or PS4 then you’re in luck. According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, owners of said consoles will be receiving a free DLC content in the form of an exclusive character pack featuring popular Droids from the Star Wars universe. The pack will be available when the game launches on June 28. The announcement came with a video spotlight showing off all the new playable characters, which you can check out below.

As you can see, a slew of new Droids will be added to LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens ranging from non-combat oriented ones, like R5-D4 and W1-LE, to the cyborg Supreme Commander himself, General Grevious. The new characters are also pulled from various eras in the Star Wars history and aren’t just limited to the films. Characters aren’t the only thing included in the pack however, players will also acquire a Vulture-class starfighter which will be usable in any flight level as well as an “extremely adorable Microfighter version to speed around the five different free play areas within the game.” This isn’t the only exclusive DLC for the game as players who purchase the game from GameStop will also receive the Jabba’s Palace Character Pack.

As previously stated, both LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the Droids Character Pack will be available soon on June 28. Are you excited to play as your favorite Droid? Leave a comment and let us know!
