The creators of Guitar Hero and Rock Band are setting their sights on virtual reality, and Harmonix Music VR looks to be as insane as you’d expect. Originally announced earlier this year, the game is made up of four different worlds. Having already shown The Beach and The Easel, the third world Harmonix is introducing is The Dance.
Controlling people, robots, and plenty of other strange creatures, players can choreograph dance moves, hop behind the DJ booth, or just wreak general havoc. “We’ve had a lot of fun creating this world and seeing the silly dances people create. The Dance is a fun experience not only for the player, but everyone in the room! Seriously, once you start a conga line on this dance floor, there’s no stopping one from starting in your living room,” the developer explains on the PlayStation Blog.
Though the game comes with 17 tracks, the real draw is that the game will work with an music in the PS4 music library. Import any song you want via USB, and the game takes care of the rest.
