You’ll be able to explore the Forgotten Realms on the PS4 very, very soon.
Perfect World Entertainment has revealed when PS4 players will be able to get their hands on Neverwinter; their free-to-play fantasy MMORPG, which has just celebrated its third year anniversary on PC.
In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Perfect World’s Communications Manager Alex Monney confirmed that Neverwinter will be launching on the PlayStation 4 this July 19th.
You’ll be able to download the game from the PlayStation Store and begin playing the game for no up-front costs.
If you can’t wait until then, Monney also revealed that you can purchase a “Head Start Pack” for $19.99, which allows you to begin playing the game a week earlier than anyone else, beginning July 12th. The pack also includes a selection of unique in-game items, including “an Onyx weapon pack, a 20-pack of enchanted keys, a special Onyx Horse mount, and more!”
The PS4 release of Neverwinter will include all 9 expansions currently available on PC on top of the base game, with 8 playable classes to choose from the very get-go.
In addition, the already announced tenth expansion, Storm King’s Thunder, will arrive to PS4 later this year at no additional cost.
All of this will be available to anyone who downloads the game, regardless of whether you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber or not.
