Link’s New Manoeuvrability
As soon as I got hands-on with Breath of the Wild, there was one thing that struck me immediately; Link is easier to maneuver around the world now. No longer do you have to roll your way around everywhere to speed up your travel time; Link can finally dash, albeit limited by a stamina bar. This stamina bar is also tied to his ability to both climb and swim. Swim for too long you’ll be succumbed to a watery death. If you dash too quickly up the side of a wall as you’re climbing, Link will get tired and let go.
Link can also finally jump whenever the player wants him to, making navigating low, but formerly pesky obstacles in the game’s world hassle-free. It may only seem like a small change, but for the much larger world of Breath of the Wild, traversal is crucial to your adventure.
