*whistle* That’s a lotta players.
It was a given that mods would be coming to Fallout 4 on PC, but hearing that mods support would be coming to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game? Yeah, that’s a pretty damn big deal. Yesterday, mod support launched for the Xbox One version of the game, and the results were big.
Bethesda has reported that the Xbox One version’s mod support launch generated 50 times the amount of traffic for the PC version of the game. The demand was so high that it actually ended up crushing Bethesda’s servers for a while. Yeah, it was that big, and that’s just for one version of the game in the span of a single day. Imagine what it’ll be like when Fallout 4 players on PlayStation get mod support later this month.
How are you enjoying mod support for the game? Let us know in the comments below.
