For the space explorers.
If you’ve been aching for some space exploration, here’s some good news for you: Elite Dangerous: Horizons is now available on Xbox One. In a press release sent out by Frontier Developments today, it was mentioned that all future updates to the game will also be released together on both PC and Xbox One. As if that wasn’t cool enough, future expansions will also be released at no extra cost, which is pretty nice.
Elite Dangerous: Horizons players on PC and Xbox One will receive further expansions at no extra cost as the season continues. Future gameplay updates will debut for PC and Xbox One simultaneously, enriching the Elite Dangerous experience with new activities and new ways to play on both platforms:
- Ship-Launched Fighters, allowing larger spacecraft to carry their own short-range fighter craft for attack and defense.
- Multicrew, allowing teams of players to assume roles aboard the same ship.
- Commander creation, giving a unique appearance to players’ in-game avatars.
