EA Showcases Titanfall 2 With Swords, Lasers, and Grappling Hooks

That chest-laser, though.

Today during the E3 Play press event, EA debuted Titanfall 2’s multiplayer trailer, showing off the game’s enhanced pilot and titan dynamic. In the trailer we saw titans battling titans with swords, pilots zipping around the map with grappling hooks, and even what looked to be projectile shurikens. We also got a look at new equipment for pilots and titans alike, including a particularly devastating chest-mounted laser on a player’s titan. Check out the trailer below.

This morning we got a look at Titanfall 2’s single player campaign, which aims to explore the bond between a pilot and their titan.

“In the single player campaign, Titanfall 2 explores the unique bond between man and machine as players step on to The Frontier as a Militia rifleman with aspirations of becoming a Pilot. Stranded behind IMC enemy lines, and against overwhelming odds, you must team up with a veteran Vanguard-class Titan and uphold a mission you were never meant to carry out,” says the game’s trailer description.

It has been officially announced that the game is coming out on October 28 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Are you excited for Titanfall 2? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to Twinfinite for more E3 info.
