Deus Ex Celebrates Turning 15 with an Animated Trailer

It's all connected.

Today marks the 15th anniversary of one Deus Ex, a cyberpunk action-RPG that put players in the shoes of JC Denton as he worked to uncover a deadly, world shaping conspiracy. The series went dormant after the release of Invisible War in the early 2000s, but has gained a resurgence thanks to the great prequel Human Revolution.

Square Enix and Eidos have put out an animated trailer that sets the stage for the world and recaps the events of Revolution in preparation for the upcoming Mankind Divided. The dialogue can be a bit cheesy at times, but the music is spot on and it all blends nicely for a sci-fi detective theme the series has been aiming for. You can watch it up above.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 23.
