Destiny: Rise of Iron Tragically Doesn’t Give You a Wolf Pack of Your Own

Sad wolf howl.

Leading up to its reveal today, one of the big questions surrounding Destiny’s Rise of Iron expansion was if you could have your own wolf pack. The first leak showed a picture of Lord Saladin wielding a flaming axe and surrounded by three wolves, a sight that looked ominous as it did awesome.

During their live stream today, Bungie was asked if it would be possible for Guardians to get a wolf pack of their own in the expansion, to which they replied with “not in here, but you can if you train them in real life.”

While that doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to have a wolf pack in future Destiny games, it is a shame that you’ll be going without some furry friends on your final adventure for the first Destiny game.

Destiny: Rise of Iron comes to the PS4 and Xbox One on September 20. Does the lack of space wolves put you off? Let us know in the comments below.
