Ubisoft Announces Crossover Title Trials of the Blood Dragon

What a nice surprise.

Ubisoft had a few strange moments during their press conference tonight, one of which was the announcement of a crossover between Far Cry: Blood Dragon and the Trials series. After having an incredibly strange introduction of two developers, the company announced Trials of the Blood Dragon.  To quote the developers on stage from Red Lynx, “trails and  blood dragon made baby together.”

The game takes the gameplay elements of of the sidescrolling Trials series, and sets it with characters and items from Far Cry: Blood Dragon. You’ll be able to use bikes, jetpacks, armored jeeps and more to make your way through levels all set to the 80’s motif. Take a look at the announcement trailer down below.

The big surprise of the announcement however, was when Ubisoft said Trials of the Blood Dragon would be releasing today on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC right after the end of their press conference.
