Uncharted 4: How to Reload Weapons

Uncharted 4

Uncharted 4 isn’t much focused on gunplay, like all the Uncharteds before it. Still, there’s quite a few firefights to get through, and limited ammo at your disposal.

Staying reloaded could mean the difference between life or death in more intense fights. To reload your gun, whether in preparation for a fight or in the heat of battle, simply press the Triangle button. If your ammo clip isn’t full and you have bullets for a refill, you’ll reload fairly quickly. Your character will also reload automatically after emptying your cartridge, unless you are out of ammunition.

To pick up ammo, walk up to it on the ground and press Triangle. Typically, you can find ammo on fallen enemies or on crates around battle zones. Unlike previous Uncharted games, Uncharted 4 does not allow you to pick up ammo by rolling over it, however that used to work.
