Uncharted 4: How to Solve the Light/Orb Puzzle in Chapter 12

Uncharted 4’s Chapter 12 is a bit long and full of free-roaming. You’re able to explore a pristine island paradise setting. Go on, gather up a bit of collectibles, get those hidden trophies, and then when you’re all done, get ready to face a puzzle. That’s right, At Sea features a light and orb and symbol puzzle complete with ancient pirate mechanisms.

The goal of this puzzle will be to match the spotlight’s design with the symbol on the orb. You’re able to rotate the orbs to better suit each design by placing them atop of the random spots that allow you to rotate them. They look special and flourished in design and they’re the only things that move when you hit “Rotate.” Slide the orbs on over them to make them just right for the spotlights before sliding them under those. Keep in mind that sometimes you’ll want to individually rotate each one, so if you only want to rotate one orb, place the other in a non-rotating spot before hitting that “Rotate” switch.

The first set is easy and will end up like this:

The second set is also simple, but keep in mind that “individual rotating” technique for it:

The final one can be tricky as the symbols move when you slide them. You’re going to want to position the symbol for males like this before sliding it left under the spotlight:

Uncharted 4_ A Thief’s End™_20160506203716

And the symbol for females like this before sliding it left under the spotlight:

Congratulations! With that, you’re all done with this puzzle! For more help with Uncharted 4, check out our expanding wiki!
