Here’s a treat for Vita fans.
Romancing SaGa 2, the RPG from Square, was released on the Super Famicom back in 1993. Just last week, an English version of the game was finally released on mobile iOS and Android devices. However, it looks like Square Enix has plans to bring this English version of the game to the PS Vita as well.
Hello world! We've released Romancing SaGa 2 English version on iPhone/Android.
For PSVita, we're working now. I want your patience, please.

Over on Twitter, series creator Akitoshi Kawazu mentioned that they were currently working on the PS Vita port of the game. Earlier this year in March, the Vita port was launched in Japan. While there isn’t any concrete news or any information about a release date just yet, it’s looking a lot like Vita owners will get to enjoy this classic RPG in English soon enough.
Romancing SaGa 2 follows the story of the Emperor or Empress of Avalon, and they’ll be able to build their own legacy by later on passing skills and abilities to their future heirs. The identity of the heirs will change, depending on who the player chooses to ally with throughout the course of the game.
