If you’ve been feeling like all of Paragon’s heroes are just a little too serious, Epic may have the answer for you. The newest hero making his way to the third-person MOBA is GRIM.exe, an imp that hovers over and controls a massive sentry robot.
Taking to the PlayStation Blog, Creative Director Steve Superville explains that GRIM, the imp, “uses his battle unit to attack at range. His pulse cannon features a passive with bonus damage every eight seconds. His other abilities allow GRIM.exe to shield himself, slow enemies, or knock them back. His Gyro Targeted Force Orb ultimate homes in on a target while passing through objects and non-Hero units.”
To get a feel for the wackiness, one need only check out the reveal trailer below.
Like all of the character in Paragon, GRIM.exe is free and instantly available to all players. He will go live on May 10 for everyone currently playing in Early Access.
The master challenge for GRIM.exe, the unlocked ability to earn extra rewards with the character, is included in the recently announced Paragon Essentials Edition. The $60 retail, disc version of the free-to-play MOBA includes in-game currency, skins, rep boosters, and the master challenges for GRIM.exe, the recently revealed Serarog, Twinblast, Iggy & Scorch, and one more unrevealed character.
