Have you ever lost your Pokemon cards? If so, you might feel some sympathy for Bryce, a nine year-old kid from Cleveland that had his cards stolen. However the Cleveland Police were on hand to rectify the situation.
Bryce was originally on his way to a friends house to show off his Pokemon collection, when his morning took a devastating turn. “Some kid stole them right out of my hand,” he told a reporter from FOX8 Cleveland.
However Officer James Grotenrath was on the scene to serve and protect. “I grew up with Pokemon, I loved Pokemon as a kid and I would be heartbroken too if my cards were taken from me,” Grotenrath said.
The Officer then went home after his shift, rummaged through his house and was able to dig up his very own collection of Pokemon cards, the entirety of which he then gave up to Bryce in an attempt to replace the stolen cards.
Not only did Grotenrath replace the stolen cards out of his own pocket, he also apprehended the thief, who was given a “stern talking to.”
