Today, the official Fallout Twitter account tweeted out to let players know that for a limited time Android users could get a character called Old Longfellow from the upcoming DLC for Fallout 4, Far Harbor, completely free.

Judging by the image included in the tweet, you can expect to get five free lunchboxes too. A sweet little bonus to help you with your ever-expanding vault.

According to players on Reddit, Old Longfellow is a legendary character that comes with an item we’ve not come across in Fallout Shelter before- a tattered long coat. Not only does this new item look cool, but it also gives the character the following SPECIAL boosts: 2 Strength, 2 Endurance, 2 Charisma, and 2 Luck. He also comes armed with a Henrietta rifle, perfect for defending your vault or sending him out into the wasteland on scavenging missions.

While nothing has been confirmed as of yet, the characters seems to have only been showing up for those players who have at least 20 dwellers in their vault.

Currently, there is no news on when Old Longfellow and his gift of lunchboxes may come to iOS, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated on any developments.

Have you got Old Longfellow in your Fallout Shelter vault? Let us know what you think of him in the comments below.
