Star Fox Zero has just had a new gameplay trailer released by Nintendo which shows off the intense action, and how special support will be included for Falco and Fox Amiibo figures which can unlock new content.
Using your Fox Amiibo will unlock you the Black Arwing which will feature more firepower but weaker defense. The Fox Amiibo unlocks a retro style Arwing designed to look like the original Super NES Star Fox game, it even features the retro music!

It has also been announced by Nintendo that Star Fox Zero will have an exclusive downloadable demo for Star Fox Guard and will only be accessible from the game’s main menu. Your saved data from the demo will carry over to the full game.
Those who manage to nab a copy of the limited first print edition of Star Fox Zero will get both games physical separate discs, plus an exclusive steelbook case. This is the only way to get a physical copy of Star Fox Guard. The rest of us will have to purchase it from the Nintendo eShop.
Star Fox Zero and Guard are due to be released on April 22.
