Today, Microsoft and Turn 10 announced that Forza Motorsport 6: Apex would be getting an open beta. The beta, which is for Windows 10 PC users only, kicks off next Thursday, May 5.
The beta, said to deliver a “focused and curated singer-player tour of Forza Motorsport’s best content”, will once again have players driving fancy cars on beautiful racetracks from all across the globe. The new “Spotlight Series” events will give players new challenges that’ll be updated regularly, plus a Race Points system that turns off assists so you can practice your skills and take on more difficult challenges. There’ll also be a set of Achievements to get that 1000 gamerscore that just makes a game so fun to play.
During the Forza Motorsport 6 beta, there’ll be updates added to the game, such as wheel support, Drivatars, and asynchronous leaderboards to compare Race Points. Online multiplayer or the design editor won’t be featured, but an early beta update will add painter designs from the Forza community to the car select flow.
