Jason Voorhees returns to his favorite summer camp.
The Kickstarter-funded Friday the 13th: The Game is coming this fall, and aims to be a faithful representation of the classic horror films. What could be a better way to show off the game than Jason Voorhees attacking a camp counselor?
The Friday the 13th game goes back to the roots of the series, as mass murderer Jason Voorhees hunts down people at Crystal Lake. Most people remember the graphic kills Jason pulls off in these movies, and this clip from the game is definitely in the spirit.

This game will be an eight-person multiplayer title, where one player is Jason and the others are the camp counselors that can either escape or fight back. The Kickstarter campaign added several kill animations as stretch goals, so this clip is the first of many.
Gun Media have opened pre-orders for the game that includes an interactive developer diary set in one of the game’s cabins, as well as interviews with the developers and actors. The pre-orders are also used to fund new stretch goals like additional kill animations and environments.
The film series may be over, but between this game and his appearance in Mortal Kombat X, Jason Voorhees is still in his prime.
Friday the 13th: The Game is scheduled for an October 2016 release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
