Demons and thieving.
If you’re in the mood for some demon slaying action, you’ll be pleased to hear that Doom 3: BFG Edition has now been made backwards compatible for the Xbox One. Released back in 2012, the updated version of the original game with the Resurrection of Evil expansion and a new single player pack called The Lost Mission. Even more important, you can now hold a weapon and flashlight at the same time! Unfortunately, this backwards compatible title is only available on disc.
Also joining the list of BC games is Monaco, a game from 2013. In it, you play as multiple characters with special abilities to pull off heists. There’s also co-op for two to four players, so you can take full advantage of the eight characters available.
Doom 3’s inclusion is the most important, as it means that all four games will be on Xbox One by next month. Pre-ordering the Xbox One version of the upcoming Doom gets you the first two games as bonuses.
