Star Wars Battlefront Is Getting More Offline Content and May 4th Surprises

Star Wars Battlefront

Lando and Dengar join the crew.

While players are still enjoying the most current Star Wars Battlefront expansion pack, Outer Rim, DICE has detailed a slew of new content heading to the game in the near future.

In the next couple of months, players can expect a free update that will include the following:

  • New In-Game Events – more double score weekends, community missions and Special Login Events are coming for players to earn more experience, credits, and items.
  • New Hutt Contracts – Unlock powerful Star Cards like the Berserker Trait, Bacta Bomb and Ion Neutralizer.
  • More New Content – We also have a couple of surprises in store that we know our fans have been looking for, especially those who have been clamoring for ways to have more options to enjoy Star Wars Battlefront offline. More to come soon.
  • Specific for May the 4th – In celebration of Star Wars™ Day we have cool activities planned that we’ll announce soon.

In June, season pass members will get first access to the second expansion, Bespin, that will take players around Cloud City, with four brand new maps and two new heroes: Lando Calrissian and the bounty hunter, Dengar.

Finally, there will be a total of eight heroes included in Star Wars Battlefront, including the most current, Greedo and Niem Nunb (that released in Outer Rim), and two more included in their third expansion pack, Death Star. We can expect details on the remaining heroes this summer.
