The one-month wait for new information starts now.
According to Serebii, the Japanese publication Corocoro will be starting and ongoing series of features on Pokémon Sun and Moon each month, beginning in April. The April issue of Corocoro releases publicly on April 15. These features will reveal more information on the upcoming pair of games, which were recently announced during a dedicated Nintendo Direct to celebrate Pokémon’s 20th anniversary.
So far we don’t know much about Pokémon Sun and Moon, aside from the fact that you’ll be able to transfer creatures caught in the Red, Blue, and Yellow re-releases into the new games by way of the Pokémon Bank. It also looks like the two titles may take place in a tropical setting, and if past titles are anything to go off of, we probably know what the story outline will look like. Other than that it’s anyone’s guess where the latest entries in the mega-popular franchise will go, until Corocoro breaks that seal next month.
