Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan Trailer Shows Off Bosses, Gives Release Date

ninja turtles, platinum games, xbox one, confirmed

What’s worse than a Shredder? How about a SUPER Shredder?

The Ninja Turtles are going to have a busy summer this year. In addition to the upcoming movie Out of the Shadows due in June, there’s also Mutants in Manhattan, the new game from Platinum Games of Bayonetta fame. The Turtles will be playable in four player co-op, or solo as you switch between them at the press of a button to pull off some wicked combos. Now a new trailer has hit, showing off the bad guys you’ll be facing.

The iconic enemies of the Heroes in a Half Shell–Bebop, Rocksteady, Karai, those guys–make an appearance here, and it doesn’t look like they’ll be easy to deal with. Also in the trailer: a giant talking shark man (because this is the Ninja Turtles, after all), and the Super Shredder. Yeah, that’s gonna be a pain to deal with.

In addition to that awesome footage, the trailer also reveals the release date for the game. Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan will hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 24. Excited for the game to hit? Let us know in the comments below.
