Need for Speed Getting Hot Rods, Drag Racing, and More in Free Update

Need for Speed, disappointing, flop, games, 2015

A new way to satisfy your need for speed.

Need for Speed is receiving a huge free update that will expand on the racing action released late last year. The Hot Rods update will add the classic, high-powered vehicle for you to customize and race. It will also add a bunch of other highly requested features to the game such as:

  • Manual Transmission
  • Drag Racing
  • The Warehouse – Storage for five more cars.
  • Wrap Editor Improvements
  • Three new Achievements/Trophies
  • Other Fixes

That’s a lot of extra polish to keep players glued to the roads of Ventura Bay. If you want to see what it’s in store, you can check out the brief Hot Rods trailer below.

The update will be available to racers on March 3 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PC players will be able to get in on the racing action on March 15.
