Club Nintendo is no more, but the updated, easier to follow My Nintendo system has officially launched in Japan. Those outside of the country can’t access the new reward system yet, but Japanese gamers can now earn and spend coins on 25 rewards.
Nintendo Everything has compiled a list of every item available to purchase right now. This includes game tickets and costumes for the Miitomo app, Wii U and 3DS game discounts, 3DS themes and full games.
One reward is the newly revealed My Nintendo Picross- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for 3DS. This game’s existence was recently leaked, but now it is officially confirmed that My Nintendo can include new games as rewards.
One thing to note is that every item available has an expiration date and amount of times it can be redeemed. This service will likely offer “seasons” of content that have to be picked up before they leave the store.
There’s also a “Missions” page that shows members how to unlock Platinum and Gold points. These activities range from buying games to doing social media checks like linking Facebook and Twitter accounts. The full chart can be viewed here.
My Nintendo is launching in 39 countries before the end of March, so it might be a matter of days until more people can access of it. What do you think of the new rewards and missions so far? Let us know in the comments.
