Spotted – what looks to be a Hearthstone advertisement showcasing a Whispers of the Old Gods expansion.
The hand-painted ad can be found in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, according to That_Azzin on Reddit. The style and text are undeniably Hearthstonian, though there’s no official connection between this mural and Blizzard. It could always just be random people painting random things. I guess.
The advertisement goes hand in hand with a YouTube video released this week alongside the Hearthstone subreddit’s sleuthing, both of which deduced a Whispers of the Old Gods expansion from a series of clues, including the cards featured on the game’s official website.
Blizzard also recently teased a big announcement at the Hearthstone Winter Championship this weekend, the reported invitation to which warns of “whispers around the Tavern.”
