Final Fantasy XV’s Uncovered event was filled with announcements and surprises. The show opened with an brand new epic gameplay trailer, before giving us more information on combat and environments.
Near the end of the show, Square Enix announced two special editions coming for Final Fantasy XV. The game will be getting a Deluxe Edition featuring the game, blu-ray copy of the full-length movie Kingsglaive, steelbook case and exclusive DLC items.
An Ultimate Collector’s Edition of the game will also be coming. This giant package features everything in the Deluxe Edition plus an art book, soundtrack for the anime Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV, a Play Arts figure of Noctis and more. Only 30,000 copies of the Collector’s Edition will be shipped worldwide.
Both editions of the game will be available on Square Enix’s online store starting at 9PM PDT. The release date for Final Fantasy XV was officially confirmed tonight as well. After a long wait, the game will be launching September 30 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
