All episodes will be out before the game’s launch.
Final Fantasy XV’s Uncovered event provided a ton of information on the game tonight, along with quite a few surprises.
After showing a brand new gameplay trailer and other video focusing on combat and the environment, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XV will be getting an original 5 episode anime series.
Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV will focus on the four main characters of the game; Noctis, Ignis, Gladeolus and Prompto. The series will provide backstory on the characters and the events leading up to the game. All five episodes will be available to view on YouTube for free. The first episode is available tonight, while the other four will be watchable before the launch of the game. The series is being produced by A-1 pictures, a Japanese animation studio known for their work on Sword Art Online and Black Butler.
Final Fantasy XV will also be getting a full-length CGI movie called Kingsglaive, releasing in 2016. What do you think about the announcement of an anime and movie for XV? Do you think they’ll add to the game? Let us know in the comments.
