Monsters, user created levels, and hell-raising fun.
Ah, you can just smell the fire and brimstone. Doom is fast approaching, a mere two months away, and Bethesda has released a new trailer sharing some more of the multiplayer. The trailer highlights some things you’ll be doing in the multiplayer, one of which is the new gameplay feature of transforming into the various monsters in the game and playing as them.
Becoming these demons involves finding pentagram pickups in the maps. Players are then treated to the horrific transformation before setting out to slay some fellow combatants. Also shown in the trailer are the many different types of weapons and powerups you’ll have at your disposal. You can hear the different types of kills you can get, all narrated in the background. Multiplayer will end up being a big feature in Doom, as it always has since it began way back when. You can check out the trailer just below:
Doom is being developed by id Software, and is being described as a reboot of the Doom series as a whole. Look out for it on May 13th here soon when it releases worldwide for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
