Xbox One Gets Four More Backwards Compatible Games

Xbox One

No Red Dead Redemption this time.

Major Nelson has announced via his Twitter that four more Xbox 360 games are now playable on Xbox One through Backwards Compatibility.

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is a spin-off of the Alan Wake, and cost $9.99 from the Xbox Live Store. Lego Batman joins Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, and the complete Lego Star Wars on the list, making it likely that we will see even more Lego games being made playable on the Xbox One.

Sam & Max Beyond Time & Space is another game developed by Telltale made available through Backwards Compatibility, which also includes Sam & Max Save the World. The last game to be announced is Trials HD from RedLynx, a popular series that now includes Trials Evolution, and Trials Fusion.

This brings the amount of Xbox 360 games made available on the Xbox One to approximately 134, including games like The Witcher 2: Assassin’s of Kings, Mass Effect, and the Gears of Wars games. If you digitally own any of the games on the list, you are able to download them on the Xbox One, keeping your original game save and achievements that have already been unlocked. Find out more about Backwards Compatibility on Major Nelson’s blog.
