No play to win either.
Ubisoft’s upcoming game, The Division will not be receiving micro transactions, according to community manager Natchai Stappers.
Players who played The Division’s beta might have noticed “Phoenix Credits,” which might have sounded like in-game microtransactions. Phoenix Credits, however can be earned by playing the game.
Stappers took to Twitter to confirm there will be no microtransactions, as well as no “play to win” mechanics, which are basically situations where players can spend real money to gain a significant advantage in-game.
@Tovarisc_ There will be no microtransactions, and definitely no P2W
