Hitman GO becomes more than just a mobile title
Remember the Hitman spin-off mobile game that came out a while back? Well, now it will be making its way onto other gaming platforms come next week. It was announced by Square Enix via a launch trailer that Hitman GO: Definitive Edition will be available on the PS4, PS Vita, and PC on February 23.
The Definitive Edition will include all of the post-launch content as well as upgraded graphics. The PlayStation versions of the game will support Cross-Buy, meaning that if you purchase it on the PS4, you get it on your Vita, and vice-versa. PC players of the game will have Steamworks integration on Valve’s platform, meaning they can unlock emojis, wallpapers, trading cards, use cloud saves, as well as earn Steam Achievements. PlayStation players of the game will have access to getting a Platinum trophy, granted that is if they can “complete everything in Hitman GO without using any hints.”
Nicholas Verge, Square Enix Montreal’s community manager, said of the game, “It’s basically the good old Hitman GO you loved on mobile, with updated visuals and all the great content we added on to it including my personal favorites, the Paris Opera from Blood Money, and the St. Petersburg Stakeout mission from Hitman 2: Silent Assassin.”
As far as Hitman’s next major installment, it is slated to release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 11.
