Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Is Free on Steam for the Weekend

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is free to play for the weekend, starting right now, and ending on Monday, Aug. 8 over on Steam. To get started, head over to the Steam page for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and click on the fancy green “Play Game” button. This will begin the download for the game on Steam. You can play the game until the deadline, after which it will be removed from your account.

If you end up wanting to keep Black Ops 3 after Monday, you’ll have the opportunity to buy the game at a discount. You can get the vanilla game at a 50% discount or the Deluxe Edition of the game, which includes the Season Pass, at a 25% discount. If you already own the base game and want to give the season pass a go, it’s available at a 20% discount.

Finally, if you own the Multiplayer Starter Pack and would like to upgrade to the full game, you get a 66% discount for the vanilla game, and a 29% discount for the Deluxe Edition.
