Telltale Game’s Michonne-centric mini-series will not only give fans of the comic book series a chance to explore exactly what happened during the time Michonne left Rick and the others, but will also help us to further understand her mysterious past.

Ever since she first appeared in both the TV shows and the comic books, Michonne has been a rather mysterious character. Everything from her lethal skills with her katana to her two “pet” walkers that she dragged around made her truly stand out from the rest of the group. While some of these questions have been answered, we still know very little about her past.

In the launch trailer for the first episode, we see Michonne being questioned by Pete over her past. From the trailer, we get an idea as to what the source of her troublesome past is, however, many more details are sure to be uncovered as the mini-series progresses.
