Star Wars Battlefront Free January DLC To Add New Map, Events and Outfits

Check out what's coming in January.

The free DLC coming to Star Wars Battlefront in January is going to be huge, according to a YouTube report from Update EA Brasil. The video has since been pulled, but it discussed a new map of Tatooine among other upcoming additions.

Originally in Spanish, translated from WCCFTech, the video did not state what modes will be available on the map, or if a new mode will be introduced with it. The DLC will also include new outfits for both Luke and Leia as well as Daily Challenges, Private Matches, and Special Community events, according to a translation from Reddit user Exsound. All of this comes along with the update in January, and is not considered part of the Season Pass DLC.

The upcoming DLC is the second in free DLC for the game, with Jakku being the first, adding the Turning Point mode which pitted the Galactic Empire against the Rebel Alliance.

Star Wars Battlefront is now available for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
