Homefront: The Revolution Gets 4 Player Co-Op Freedom Fighters Mode

REVOLUTIOOOOOOOON!

Shooters these days are all about 4 player co-op, and Homefront: The Revolution is no different. The game will have a Freedom Fighters mode when the game launches, and they’ve got a trailer to show off what you’ll be doing. As one would expect, you’re not going to be making many friends while doing these missions.

How Freedom Fighters works is you and three friends form a Resistance Cell, then go up against the KPA in missions. Think Strike Missions in Destiny, if that paints a picture. Each mission gets you XP and credits, which you can use to upgrade your weapons and items and the like. The harder the mission, the bigger the amount of stuff you earn. The Freedom Fighters mode is said to be regularly updated, and future support packs will be free upon launch. Not a real bad deal, no?

Homefront: The Revolution hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 20.
