The Opening
FNaF World opens as you’d probably expect if you’re a fan of the series. Very little is revealed but you’re instantly thrust into a world of mystery. The game opens with these simple lines:
Everything that happens out there, has an effect here. Do you understand? This is a safe place. This is a sanctuary. But something has gone wrong, and now it can be seen here. Something went very wrong. That’s why I am here. But I won’t let the same happen to you. I will put you back together.
If you’ve played the previous games in the FNaF universe, this will probably bring to mind FNaF 4. In that game you played as a child who was seriously injured after being bitten by the Fredbear animatronic. Fredbear refers to the child as broken, and you spend the whole game absolutely terrified of these characters that were once your friends.
Throughout the comatose nightmare you survived a violent death from these terrifying beings. It’s understandable, after suffering such a traumatic experience, to be scared of these robots. After the opening, you are free to actually start the game and dive into this strange RPG world.
