Space Hulk: Deathwing – How to Heal

Recommended Videos

Space Hulk: Deathwing returns to some roots of the shooter genre by taking regenerating health out of the equation. Since there are no health packs laying around in the game, how do you heal up?

There’s two ways to heal in Space Hulk: Deathwing. The most time-consuming way would be to summon a Psygate to briefly return to the hub, where you can also change your loadout. It takes about seven seconds to teleport you to the base, however, so take note that you’re quite vulnerable during that time frame.

Another way to heal is by issuing a command to your apothecary. Hold down the space bar and select the option furthest to the right in the selection wheel. Note that there’s a select number of heals available that will be replenished when you teleport back to the hub using the Psygate.

While you don’t have an exact health bar, keep a close eye on the armor indicator to the right of your screen. If this is completely transparant, you’re good to go. If it’s lit up like a Christmas tree, however, it might be a good idea to heal up and avoid a crushing death.
