Headlander: Can you Run or Sprint?

Headlander has released and sees players ripping the robot heads off of bodies and taking control of them all for the cause of saving humanity. While floating around with a head is the fastest and most enjoyable way to get about, sometimes you’ll need a body to get the job done.

With this in mind, players have been wondering how you can run in the game, or if it’s even possible. Unfortunately, we have bad news for you. Headlander doesn’t allow players to run about at all. Pressing down the left stick on your DualShock 4 won’t give your character a temporary body a burst of speed, but will (if you’ve unlocked it) activate a powerful ability. No other button combination works, so you’ll just have to get around at normal speed.

Of course, if you’re trying to zip around a room quickly, the best way to do so is to simply detach your head from the body and fly around. Once you’ve unlocked the upgrade you can even boost as just a head, making it even quicker. The freedom of flight is a wonderful thing.
